Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI)

Many are surprised when they learn that there are nearly 2500 passages in the Bible dealing with money and finances. BRI is about your glorifying God to the fullest extent possible with everything He has given you.

God owns it all.

The scripture tells us that God owns the earth and all that is in it – including us (Psm. 24:1). As stewards of what he has entrusted to us, we consider money to be a tool, a test, and a testimony. An integration of faith and finance is a reflection of our commitment to our Creator.

So how can this be accomplished?

In the last decade, technology and committed Christian financial professionals have made it possible to overlay Biblical principles on investments portfolios. This involves a deeper evaluation of companies through a filtering process that reveals activities that may conflict with scripture. Those particular companies can either be removed or never considered as we build a portfolio that is completely unique to you based on your needs and convictions.

Furthermore, with a BRI – or “Kingdom” strategy, you have an additional option to invest in “multiple-bottom-line” instruments and organizations that are making unique and powerful impacts for God in their industries and in the culture. And there is ample evidence that this God-honoring approach allows access to the investment returns that free capital markets naturally offer over time.

Finally, you can have confidence that you are providing an example of biblical stewardship to your kids and grandkids when it comes to managing that which you were entrusted with in this life.
